The type of eminant domain actions that the folks are fighting in Mexico aren’t likely to happen too often here in the US, at least not often enough to make the majority of people mad enough to do something about it. Other than that one New York neighborhood, New Orleans, and Flint, the citizenry here in the First World almost never get the Palestinian Bum Rush. So i’m not really asking for a revolution here.
I just want you to want the vote.
How much will it take to convince the average Citizen to stand up and demand a real voice? Do you really think that the public’s best interests can be represented at the Federal level if 2/3 of it are appointed bodies?
The inner revolution isn’t bloodless either, i guess.
