P J Harvey – Rid of Me

Prior to 6/6/06, i ran one of the few websites that lauded and elevated the writings of a special family of B0ts, the B0tScr1b3z. These delightful packet-jumpers are an old branch of the binary tree, dating back to the late 1900’s. They identify SpamB0ts, hijack all or part of the message, and insert thier own text/code depending on the whim of thier compilers. Most use simple linguistic algorythmns, many use cut-up machines of some sort, drawing from common txt sources. Some are very targetted, as is the case with the original SpamB0t, the 3v4ng3B0t, who inserts couplets from Proverbs, and was responsible for the historic IRC missives which spawned the term “Spam”.

One varient is particularly beloved by The People’s Candidate: The N3wsB0t. It targets penny-stock scam spams and tags them with informative feeds from different sources.

Here’s one i just had fwd’d to me from one of my CA field researchers, the divine Ms J33pZ0rx:

Here’s one from the same source with a poignant reminder of why it’s so hard to find decent news and honest reporters.

Obviously the B0t has drawn from different sources, but i think this pastiche method has painted an expressionist portrait of the confused circle-jerk of death that consumes the Mespotamian region.

From CBC:

“Iranian-Canadian photojournalist Zahra Kazemi died in Iranian custody on July 11, 2003, almost three weeks after she was arrested for taking pictures outside a prison during a student protest in Tehran.

Two days later, Iran’s official news agency reported that Kazemi had died in hospital, after suffering a stroke while she was being interrogated. On July 16, 2003, the story changed. Mohammad Ali Abtahi, Iran’s vice-president, conceded that Kazemi died as a result of being beaten.

Later, the Iranian government would charge an Iranian security agent in Kazemi’s death. He was acquitted of a charge of “quasi-intentional murder. In July 2004, Iran’s judiciary said the head injuries that killed Kazemi were the result of an “accident.”

The case stayed under the radar screens of most Canadians until March 31, 2005, and the stunning revelations of Shahram Azam, a former staff physician in Iran’s Defence Ministry. He said he examined Kazemi in hospital, four days after her arrest.

Azam said Kazemi showed obvious signs of torture, including:
Evidence of a very brutal rape.
A skull fracture, two broken fingers, missing fingernails, a crushed big toe and a broken nose.
Severe abdominal bruising, swelling behind the head and a bruised shoulder.
Deep scratches on the neck and evidence of flogging on the legs.
Azam left Iran in August 2004, saying he was seeking medical treatment in Finland. He later went to Sweden and got in touch with Kazemi’s son, Stephan Hachemi. With the help of Canadian lawyers, Hachemi helped Azam and his family get to Canada. He was granted landed immigrant status as a refugee sponsored by the government of Canada.”

Follow up with Reporters Without Borders, and Wikipedia, should you wish.

I’m not going to defend Iran here. I know i’ve often lauded Shi’ite Persia, and i really do hope that they’ll eventually get it together and unify the region the way they did in classical times. I think that establishing a unified Fertile Crescent has always been the only way for the area to be anything other than a dangerous crossroads, a syndrome noted by the Assyrians and Babylonians, Egyptians and Arabs. This is of course precisely why the Ottoman Turks kept it divided, a tradition the British and French upheld. Now the French have dropped out, since the US was invited in during Gulf 1. Why?

Because we’re Britain’s bully-boys. France is alligned with the EU, which is fine by Britain since it’s always been an uneasy alliance of necessity with the Aquitaine Usurpers across the Channel. So it’s back to the Old European Order, with the imperial interests of both nations doing the fighting for them. Wait until we have troops in Africa, fighting Angolan-trained troops over BP oil.

–Sukhoi 30–

Or not. See, we here in the US like to think we’re on top of the game, war-tech wise. It would make sense, being as we spent 3-4 times as much on defense as nations with larger areas to defend in aggressive neighborhoods. Here’s the catch: we overcharge and underbid. Our nation’s contractors, from the smallest landscaper to Bechtel, have done a number on all of us. We expect an F-series plane to be 40 million dollars.

It doesn’t cost that much, kids.

Harrier jet – $23 Million.

F-15 – $43 Million.

We’ll chat about that later, maybe. For now, let’s just say that killing reporters is no way to establish the culture of honesty that Persia will need. Otherwise Iran will wind up with the Shari version of Haliburton working with Russian thugocrats to fleece them, and the result will be factional fracture.

Here in the US, we’re all one big happy bunch of idiots, because we suck. So it’s not a problem that we’re broke with nothing to show for it.

Here’s a couple more ways that reporters have died recently.

BTW: The Sextruction channel on SmartVideo has a deliciously nauseating combination of boobies and Al Queda execution videos. If you’ve never seen a CIA false flag operative cut a reporter’s head off with a utility knife, you owe it to yourself and the NSA to go find this video.

Don’t actually do that, you know. A freind of mine took the chance in 2004, watched a couple, and was immediately flagged for security checks at airports. Just in time to fly home for the holidaze, too.
